Confident Karachi Kings to face Lahore Qalandars tonight

DUBAI: Karachi Kings’ remarkable consistency will be up against Lahore Qalandars when the two Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises clash in the eight fixture of the league tonight at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The match will begin at 9 pm tonight (Pakistan Standard Time).

Kings have maintained early momentum and defied history with a five-wicket win over old nemesis and defending champions Peshawar Zalmi on the fourth day of the tournament on Sunday.

Mohammad Amir and Shahid Afridi took two wickets apiece to restrict Zalmi to 131-9 before Karachi Kings achieved the modest target in 19.4 overs. Imad Wasim hit the winning six after only two were scored off the first three balls with Mohammad Rizwan falling off the third ball to raise excitement.

On the other side, Qalandars have remained winless in the third edition of PSL so far with a strong determination to register a first victory in the league.
