PATTOKI: Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s presidency of the party had been snatched but his love could not be snatched from the hearts of the people.
“Nawaz is a great pillar of Pakistani politics and he is prodigious glory of Pakistan,” he said while addressing a public gathering in Pattoki.
Lashing out at opponents, he said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan knew nothing but to tell lies.

“Imran has ruined economic sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He only wasted people’s time by orchestrating sit-ins and lockdowns. The next time people will not vote for him for his unbridled lies ,” he said.
Vowing to work under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the senior PML-N leader said he was chosen as an acting president of his party, after Nawaz was disqualified by the Supreme Court to run a political party.
He also deplored over the inadequacy of good governance in Karachi. He said Karachi once used to be the City of Lights, however there were now piles of garbage all over and old, rusty, greasy and broken buses.
Shehbaz Sharif requested from residents of Karachi to vote for the PML-N to change their fortune.
In the end, he announced to gift 10 AC buses to the locals that would run between Pattoki and Lahore in July.
