MUMBAI: If you have any doubts about the outstanding acting and transformation of Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming movie Sanju, then you should really check the reaction of Rishi Kapoor who could not recognise his own son in film’s trailer.
Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor watched Sanju’s trailer lately and remarked that he thought the actor in the trailer was Sanjay Dutt himself.
While praising the efforts of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, he said, “The way Rajkumar Hirani has presented Ranbir is the biggest thing, the boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I swear on (wife) Neetu and Ranbir, I did not think it was Ranbir, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt,”
The movie’s trailer moved Rishi Kapoor utterly that he was not only taken aback but also admitted to being emotionally triggered after filmmakers showed him the trailer.

Sanju is a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt (essayed by Ranbir) which will feature the high and lows of Sanjay Dutt’s life. The movie is directed and produced by Rajkumar Hirani, and is set to release on June 29.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the other leading roles in the film will be played by Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza.
